Adult Beginning Encaustic Class:
Come join in the fun and learn about the ancient
form of encaustic painting!
In this beginning class, we will cover basic tools
& safety, different ways to apply
paint, basic color mixing and how to choose
appropriate substrates for your work. We
will also touch on techniques such as image transfers, stencils, monotypes, oil
sticks and how to incorporate collage elements.

Adult Glass Mosaic Window Class:
Come
create a one-of-a-kind glass mosaic window that will be a beautiful adornment
to your home. We will work with you on
design and techniques in glass mosaics.
It’s a fun way to be creative in a relaxing atmosphere with other
adults! A discount will be given if
students provide their own window for the class. All supplies included.

Adult Encaustic Color Camp:
Tired of paying for expensive
store bought encaustic paints? Looking
for a more cost effective alternative? In this class you will be learning how
to develop your own color palette and mix encaustic medium using beeswax and
damar resin. Different recipes and ratios that can be used will be discussed. In addition you will learn how to add colored
pigments to medium and make your own encaustic paints. You will leave this class with a full color
spectrum of paints which is sure to be everything your palette desires!
